Mushroom Stir Fry

4 oz. Mushrooms, large pieces

1 C. Broccoli, thumb size pieces
½ C. Onion, julienne
1 T. Garlic, minced
1 t. Ginger, minced
1 C. Chicken stock (vegetable/mushrooms)
¼ C. Honey
¼ C. Soy sauce
1 T. Sirach
Salt and pepper to taste
1 T. Corn starch slurry
¼ C. Sesame oil
½ C. Scallion, sliced


Heat the sesame oil until just smoking hot. Add the mushrooms, broccoli, and onion. Stir and sear until just browned, about 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the stock, honey, soy, and Sirach and reduce for 2 minutes. Add the corn starch slurry and season to taste. Finish with the sliced scallions and serve over rice or noodles.
